GoldenPack Software released FineVM, high performance Embedded Java Runtime Environment for embedded devices such as digital TV, Set-Top Box, PDA and other home electronics

FineVM has proved it’s effectiveness as a key element of the middlware platform for DTV developed by GoldenPack Software Co., Ltd.

Its features include:

  • Owing to the effective and adaptive compiler, it executes java applications very quickely.
  • By accurate GC and its own memory manager, it uses small memory footprint suitable for embedded devices.
  • ROMizer enables embedded devices to decrease booting time.
  • The Securty Manager supports full Java Sandbox security model, and thus makes users feel safe for untrusted codes running on your devices.
