Omnix Magazine Client

Smartphones’ users, who are clients of polish network operator ERA PTC, now can download a great mobile application which facilitates the use of Omnix service. Application, called Omnix Magazine, downloads data without the users’ participation. Access to collected data is faster, easier and more comfortable.

Omnix MagazineOmnix Magazine application, prepared by Psiloc, is designed for Symbian based smartphones only. Downloaded application adds new icon to the smartphone menu. When user opens it, he/she has immediate access to the world, local and sport news, actual currency rates or weather forecast. The content depends from the version which can be Standard or Business. In the second case the content includes more business details.

Beside the news Omnix Magazine contains a lot of exceptional services. All the content can be sent to friends in a form of MMS, with user’s own comment. A completely fresh and original is “Find near”, a service that allows locating the nearest pubs, restaurants, theaters, pharmacies, cash points and gas stations. Business clients can also search for people and enterprises.

The standard version of Omnix Magazine offers more entertaining services like sending photos made with smartphone as postcards or voice SMS. The application allows to find out if someone loves you or not and what present would make happy your best friend.

Psiloc’s press release says that Omnix Magazine is the biggest and the most complex client-server mobile application on the market.

The application has been released January 9th 2006 and is compatible with the following smartphones: Siemens: SX1; Nokia: 3230, 3650, 3660, 6260, 6600, 6630, 6670, 6680, 7610, 7650, N-Gage, N-Gage QD and Sony Ericsson: P800, P900, P910i.
