Nokia Supports ASD Scheme

By Dusan Belic on Friday, March 31st, 2006 at 12:10 pm PST In Developer, Nokia, Symbian

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) supports the mobile developer ecosystem through Forum Nokia, an online resource for all the programming platforms used in Nokia phones. This includes the Symbian OS based Series 60 and Series 80 platforms. Recognising the value of formal accreditation, Nokia now supplies information on the ASD scheme in both the Training and Symbian C++ sections of the web site.

I believe that Forum Nokia (NYSE: NOK) also offers the ASD free to its Forum Nokia Champions (those that aren’t already ASDs anyway!). It’s an indication of how highly they esteem both the Champions and the exam, I think, and a great opportunity to demonstrate skill on the platform.

This is a great blog by the way - it’s informative, beautifully laid out and really clear. Nice one :-)
