Oxygen Software has just release the new update of their Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS phones. For all of you out there who may not have heard of this software, it lets your PC and mobile phone communicate with each other. Also, it is good to add that this is the first PC software certified by Nokia authorized service centre.
Anyway, the version 2.9 brings several improvements:
- Added support for Nokia (NYSE: NOK) 6682.
- New section – “Application Manager” – allows you to manage applications and games: get complete list, run and install new applications. Section supports both Symbian and Java applications.
- Log Records. Added GPRS traffic counter information.
- Messaging. You can add sender’s phone number to any existing contact using pop-up menu now.
- Phonebook. Now you can easily drag-n-drop contacts to current phone groups: left mouse button moves contact to the group, right – assigns new one saving old assignment.
- Phonebook. Columns auto-size function takes into consideration default numbers width now.
- Gallery. Improved hot flash card change handling for communicators.
