emozeIntroducing emoze, the world’s first free and secure “push” email and PIM service for mobile devices. With emoze anyone with a compatible mobile phone can receive work or home emails and Personal Information Manager (PIM) data such as contacts and diary scheduling on their mobile phone or PDA on the move, anywhere in the world. The technology itself is built to support any mobile device. Current release works with all Microsoft PocketPC or Symbian devices.

Unlike other solutions in the market place, emoze has created a real push-event technology, in which synchronization occurs only on incoming and outgoing events, rather than via periodical connections to the email server and checks for change. This part of the technology not only saves the user connectivity-related costs but also dramatically reduces device power usage.

About The Author

Dusan Belic

Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application. Dusan used to run SymbianWatch.com which later became part of IntoMobile. He lives in Serbia, South-East Europe, from where he edits the site on a daily basis.

    Real Push Event Technology?

This is the worst joke ever – This thing will only send to your device the emails that you received 24 hours ago!

Emoze is a piece of trash, and you will have to reset (wipe) your phone uninstall this wannabe push app. Don’t waste your time, there is other mature products available such as Visto and Seven which you can get directly from your mobile phone operator, but most importantly – Visto and Seven – are both truly instant Sync, and not just for instant – over the air – Email, but for contacts, calendars and tasks as well.

Those kids from Emoze should go back to the drawboard and learn from the Pros.
