There were already rumors on Nokia E62, that is basically E61 without WiFi for the US market. Well, apparently the rumors were true, as PC Magazine had a chance to preview the device.
On the pro side of the E62, PC Magazine notes very sharp screen, comfortable keyboard, wide range of e-mail and web-browsing options.
On the cons – slab design which isn’t comfortable to hold up to your head, a memory card slot which is under the battery and bit complicated music and video syncing (then again people in the US are not familiar with the Symbian).
The bottom line is that they see Nokia E62 as a potential BlackBerry and Treo killer (I would add Moto Q to the list) and they expect to see it on a GSM carrier soon (Cingular or T-Mobile).
