If you haven’t heard of HelloSoft, you should know that their products enable mobile device manufacturers to design and architect products that are power-efficient and provide substantial cost benefits. Recently, HelloSoft announced that it has joined the Symbian Platinum Program to support the growing market for Symbian OS. As a Platinum Partner, HelloSoft is extending its VoIP and IMS/VCC software solutions for mobile devices to the Symbian ecosystem.
What this means is that dual-mode telephony will soon be reality for many Symbian OS handset users.
