Atom Entertainment, Inc. (now part of Viacom) recently announced that its leading online games destination Shockwave.com unveiled a mobile games store offering a vast library of the best mobile titles from Shockwave.com each month. The new store offers around 40 games priced between $4 and $7 each, and includes mobile versions of Shockwave.com’s popular titles such as Jewel Quest and Diner Dash. Shockwave.com also announced that future games may be ad-supported and cost less (or even free!).

Navio’s AV Commerce service will power the store, thus providing customers with the best possible user experience.

The goal is to convert casual online games to casual mobile games. Shockwave.com is certainly among the top online gaming brands and this latest move makes much sense.
