S60 Web Browser 2.0

Phonescoop has an interesting post involving the new version of S60 web browser. According to Phonescoop, the biggest and the most important change is that the web browser is no longer a separate application from the WAP browser; they’re integrated now. You can view WAP 1.0, WAP 2.0, xHTML, and HTML pages all in one place.

  • browsing in landscape
  • saving pages for offline viewing
  • saving usernames and passwords
  • RSS reader
  • auto complete of forms
  • Flash Lite 2 is now supported
