msystems’ mDOC H3 embedded flash drive is Symbian Approved

mDOC H3 embedded flash drivemsystems, a leader in smart personal storage, today announced that the mDOC H3 embedded flash drive (EFD) has been accredited the “Symbian Approved” mark by Symbian Ltd.

After completing pre-qualifications in Symbian labs, Symbian has approved the mDOC H3, msystems’ embedded flash drive solution for Symbian OS for smooth integration of the latest, most cost-effective raw NAND flash material from major silicon partners. mDOC H3 from msystems is based on more than 17 years of flash expertise, a robust intellectual property portfolio and on technology deployed in millions of tier-one mobile handsets.

The mDOC H3 embedded flash drive, now mass produced in a range of densities up to 1-gigabyte, is available from msystems. The 2-gigabyte mDOC H3 is slated for availability within about a month.
