Quickoffice provides smartphone users mobile access to Microsoft Office documents, allowing them to open, edit and save documents in their native format. With this release, Quickoffice brings many powerful features for the first time to mobile phones that greatly enhance the user’s experience and productivity, including comprehensive editing capabilities in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with complete integrity of a document’s original formatting. Quickoffice 4.0 includes the following features:

  • Quickword 4.0 – enables table and image viewing, insertion, and editing, along with the ability to view full page-layouts that include headers, footers and details on page size, orientation and margins in Word documents
  • Quickpoint 4.0 – allows users to edit all text, insert tables, resize and reorder images, view and edit text comments, and listen to and record voice comments within PowerPoint files
  • Quicksheet 4.0 – offers advanced function support and complex number, date, time and text formats for Excel spreadsheets

In addition, Quickoffice 4.0 features an advanced file manager for efficient folder navigation. This allows seamless and easy management of all the office documents maintained on a smartphone – whether received via email attachments, external memory cards, MMS messages or phone memory.

Also included in 4.0 is Quickmanager, a new, in-application tool that allows users to access valuable product updates and upgrades. As an integral part of the Quickoffice product suite, Quickmanager ensures users always have access to the latest Quickoffice products and additional relevant complementary applications. The software refreshes itself to ensure that the latest products are available, and billing, downloading and installation all take place directly from the smartphone using “over-the-air” capabilities. The simple, easy purchase process is typically completed in less than a minute.
