An idea for N93's successor

By Dusan Belic on Friday, October 27th, 2006 at 5:34 PM PST In Devices, NSeries, Nokia, Symbian

Few days ago I read about Samsung’s upcoming SCH-U710 phone. This is NOT a Symbian device, but it does have one interesting feature. What I’m talking about is its unique keyboard. The SCH-U710 sports both numerical and QWERTY characters, with latter being used when the device is flipped on the side. This sort of feature is something that many of us (Symbian OS handset users) would like to see in some next N93 device – so we could combine both business and personal life. What do you think?

  1. Ah, simply don’t like it, its quite difficult, actually almost impossible to use, especially for larger male thumbs, even large E61 QWERTY solution isn’t very comfortable and easy to use and last but not the least M600i has the worst solution ever its almost painful to use it.

From other side E70 with its “butterfly form factor offers great QWERT experience with large and comfortable key but IMO N93 with normal phone keyboard supported with external QWERTY solution (SU-8W is the best IMO) is the killer combination.. ..

    Cheers,
    Teo
