The Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Podcasting applications, released earlier this year, comes out of beta. It allows you to find, subscribe to and download podcasts over the air with your Nokia smartphone.
The first complete version (v1.00) brings many changes compared to the beta version, including:
- New Default Directories
- Better Memory Card support
- Improved stability of data connection
- Reduced the power consumption
- Disabled the use of right/left arrow key to open and go back in Directory view
- Cleared up buffer for editing URL
- User defined directory is preserved after disconnection or application exit
If you already have installed the beta version, you should consult this FAQ. Also, check out some Nokia Podcasting application tips. Finally, you can download the application from here.
UPDATE: Nokia Podcasting team now gives you an explicit opportunity to give them your feature requests. Plus, “Voice of S60″ has an interview with Steven Stewart, product manager for the Nokia Podcasting Application!
