Synchronize Google Calendar with your phone

Google Calendar users will appreciate the fact that now they can directly synchronize their appointments and tasks with their phone.
Yes, you can always synchronize Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Calendar with Outlook and then synchronize Outlook with your phone, but that’s two steps. There are Two direct solutions available:
- GCalSync – an open source Java-based application (still in its early stages)
- GooSync – online (beta) service that do the same job.
I haven’t got the time to test any of these solutions (GCalSync has been briefly presented at the Forum Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Blogs). If someone has tried them, please drop a comment – I’m sure many of us would like to hear what you think.

Hi,
I have tested the GCal application on my N90 but it didn´t work. However the other solution with GooSync works fantastic well

I’ve been using GCalSync on my N70 for about a month now. Works fine for me. Now all I need is a contact sync from the same source.
I’m using SonyEricsson K750i, GCalSync works fine for me
An simplest alternative might be to use Snaptu Google Calendar. It doesn’t require any sync-ing as it’s always in sync. See http://www.snaptu.com/a/gcalendar.
