Papyrus 1.2.05 for S60 3rd Edition released

The new version of the popular PIM software, Papyrus, has been released. The long awaited S60 3rd Edition support is finally here (from version 1.2), and I’m sure that many of you will replace the default PIM with Papyrus. Especially, when you know that the new version supports both landscape and portrait orientations.

For those of you not familiar with Papyrus, its users love it for two reasons:Papyrus 1.2.05 for S60 3rd Edition

  1. Papyrus has more and better views than built-in calendar. Tasks and appointments can be browsed by day, week and month. Single week can be browsed in a grid view, giving you the quick overview of the week’s activities. Use of colors is also an important feature of Papyrus, allowing easy identification of an item’s category.
  2. Enhanced create/edit item dialogs. Papyrus’ dialogs are more intuitive and compact, giving users more information on one screen. Each item can be categorized, or marked with an icon or color. Contact picker allows quick linking of contacts to appointments.

I could go on with the features, but the application speaks for itself. A free trial is available and I strongly suggest you to give it a try.

I was fortunate enough to become a beta-tester for this lovely application. It has been (and still is) great to follow the progress and see it being improved in many ways.

    Truly worth a try.
