Orb Networks news: YouTube + partnership with 3

In just a couple of days last week, Orb Networks announced two important news:

Orb NetworksFirst, they they announced that their free MyCasting service is the first to take Internet videos mobile by making it possible to add, manage and stream them using any mobile device with a browser and media player. People can now enjoy their favorite videos from YouTube, Google, Guba and DailyMotion while on the move.

Then, as part of X-Series launch, they announced a global partnership giving 3′s customers mobile access to the digital media stored on their home PCs. The new service, called “Orb on 3″ gives customers the ability to enjoy all of their home music, videos, photos, and TV, anywhere they go on any device – be it on their mobile, PDA or laptop. The “Orb on 3″ simply streams a person’s own content from their home PC to any device with a Web browser and a media player. The service will be available in the UK in December, followed by other 3 Group companies in the first quarter of 2007.
