Pissed off Nokia N73 user’s email to the CEO of Nokia

Dear Sir
I am writing to you to seek your help in improving the
customer support from Nokia (NYSE: NOK), particularly in relation to the Nokia
Software Update (NSU) service, and also your Customer Support service.I
would kindly ask that you ask one of your people to look at the Nokia
Discussions web pages relating to Software. Also the AV Forums web site
and their pages on mobile phones and specifically the N73 discussion
forum. There are many separate discussion forums on the N73 alone When
they report back to you they will have identified the extremely high
level of complaints about the lack of access to the NSU in relation to
the N73 and other phone models. The Nokia NSU web page says that
updates are available for the N73 but many people cannot obtain the
download. There may be very good reasons for this but Nokia does not
inform people via the Discussion Forum (it has a News page where it
could do this very easily) what the problems are and when they will be
resolved. Similarly, when people email Nokia’s Customer Support they
are getting no response, which is surely unacceptable. I emailed over a
week ago and I have had nor reply.Due to the lack of
information from Nokia and the continued problems in customers
downloading their software update there has grown immense
dissatisfaction with the N73 and with Nokia as a company. I am sure you
will be concerned about this matter and I would respectfully ask for
your assistance in arranging for Customers to better informed and to
receive prompt responses to complaints and enquiries. All we want is
for the N73 Software Update to be available as quickly as possible or
to be informed of the reasons for any delay and when it will be
available. I hope you can agree that this should not be too much to ask
nor beyond the capability of Nokia.Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you.

For someone to have to resort to this I can imagine that he has been ignored by a great number of people higher up the corporate food chain. I wonder if this guy emailed any of the team behind the official Nokia Series 60 Blogs for some assistance. Firmware updates have always been a pain in the ass, and Nokia’s software updater tries to make it easier, however it seems to be failing this guy, as well as a bunch of other users in the support forums. Mayday Mayday!

Mohit from karnal, Haryana. I have Nokia E51 purchased on 5th Sept 08. after 10 months Its key ‘4′ started behaving in unusual pattern
& eventually stopped working. When went to Nokia Care they alsways asked for a week’s time to return phone which I always insisted to
reduce this time as i never had an alternative phone to use. This happened twice. Now, thnaks to their usual delaying habits after the
warranty, when 2 more keys – Ok key & home key have stopped working I went to them on 19th Oct & they completely refused to take my phone.
I dont know due to which reason as if its their own shop & they are owners of Nokia. Its disgusting the way they behaved with me & my wife.
I felt so helpless but at the same time decided to write complaint every where about yout Karnal nokia Care branch. Request you to take action
in building culture in your Nokia cares’ that customer is King & time never remain same – They way other phones are coming in market Nokia
soon will loose its market share. Very rightly said We purchase Nokia for its After service but if we wont get that then whats the difference
between you & any other brand.
