NEC Quits from China’s Mobile Phone Market

Before NEC’s withdraw, other Japan-branded mobile phone makers, including Panasonic (NYSE: PC), Toshiba (OTCPK: TOSBF) and Mitsubishi, have already withdrawn from China, where Nokia (NYSE: NOK) and Motorola (NYSE: MOT) dominates the market.
