Several press releases today, why couldn’t all this information have been made into one press announcement beats me, seriously. The 6300 is very nice, the 2626 looks perfect for someone like my mother or one who has never had a mobile phone before. I have yet to see a Nokia (NYSE: NOK) clamshell phone I like, yes that includes the N93.
The Nokia PR team hasn’t released information on the 2626, but they were nice enough to show it off.
At Nokia’s annual Capital Market Days taking place in Amsterdam today, Nokia announced four new mobile phones including three mid-range models — the Nokia 6300, Nokia 6290 and the Nokia 6086 — as well as the Nokia 2626 targeted to consumers in entry markets. All four models are expected to begin shipping in the first quarter of 2007.
Kai Oistamo, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Mobile Phones for Nokia unveiled the new models along with the company’s vision for the next year. "These new products underscore our commitment to offer a range of mobile phones that give consumers a choice in selecting the right balance of technology and design to meet their lifestyle and budget."

Like I said, no press release for the 2626; I guess they think it is some how too inferior to deserve it’s own spec sheet. Or hey who knows, maybe the PR department just hasn’t released an official statement. However here is a picture as promisied for your viewing pleasure
The phone also comes in pink and light blue, check those pictures out here.
