Nokia E61 is the most popular amongst attendees at Nokia World

Walking around the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) World conference today I was very, very surprised by the amount of E61s I kept seeing. I had NO idea these phones were so popular. No idea at all.
In the UK, it’s far more likely you’ll spy Blackberries more than Nokia E-Series handsets, however today I reckon (rough guess) the Nokia E61 was in the hands of about 50% if the audience. Very impressive.
Obviously it’s a ‘home crowd’ — what other conference are you going to see that amount of Nokia handsets in one place, eh? — however the sheer number surprised me.
Carlo had one. Rafe had one. I had one. E61s everywhere!
