The new, version 1.3.14 of Python for S60 has been released. Compared with the version 1.3.11 (which was the last version we noted), the new version brings the following improvements:
- Calendar has now been implemented for S60 3rd edition
- Orientation switch and callback when screen change in canvas
- Initial version of the contacts module for 3.0 has been added
- Added support for OpenGL ES 1.0 – runs on all devices since Nokia 6630, and even supports the hardware acceleration on the N93
- Added new method that gives access to device’s text-to-speech engine
- And, of course, many of the known bugs are fixed
