Orb's MyCasting now lets you search for video content

We’ve already posted an article about Orb’s MyCasting service that lets you watch videos from the popular video sharing services on your mobile phones. Now Orb goes even further, allowing its users to actually search all videos from YouTube, Google (NSDQ: GOOG), DailyMotion and Yahoo directly from their mobile phones.

The new feature is very easy to use. You login in your Orb account from the phone’s web browser, select the video site you want to search, type the keywords, and that’s it!

Last week, U.S.-based carrier, Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Wireless announced partnerships with YouTube and Revver to allow its users to access mobile videos with certain limitations. Orb Networks sees this as a wrong approach, and suggest that users should be free to watch whatever they like, whenever they like, without any limitations. Couldn’t agree more. :)
