Damn people.... JUST GO FOR FRING as it is FREE and actually uses your phone WiFi (or data plan) to place calls instead of working as a callback service from skype (wich will cost you credits).

I have just acquired a Nokia 78 and down loaded the IM+skype. It worked fine with the trial for 7 days but after that I have trouble using it because it won't accept the code sent by Shape. Even fat retrying to reload the software after deleting the fist one, it did not accept the 15digit code key provided. Any one has an idea hoe to get this problem solved.
Also The IM+skype, while I can make calls it does not allow me to receive calls when I am connected via the WIFE, any body knows how to do that. by the way i have on my PC account and very thing works fine.
Also how could I get to my voice mail on skype using N78?
It is a great device if I can learn to have it function just like skype on my PC, then I don't have to Cary my lap top when reveling

I'm wondering about what is your experience with returned skype call. when I downloaded trial application for my Nokia N95 I found it cool that skype was calling me back when I was dialing number. Until I realized that this is double charged and suddenly my skype credit went down significantly, which made it not worse calling through skype via mobile, but rather dial from mobile directly. Could this happen because I was on trial version? Or can anybody explain that returned call which you charged?

thanks!

I also have the pearl through t-mobile.
The software works Great. I had some issues downloading it on my desktop, so I sent the link to my blackberry email to download it.

I Purchased the 24.99 unlimited skypeout plan for the united states. ( I think now its 29.99) That alone wouldn't let me make calls with the program, it would only let me text. The program only reconized I had unlimited skypeout to the u.s. When I purchased the minimun 10 Euros worth of skpye credit to make international calls. Those 10 euros will last forever if you only make calls to the united states.

Now I can call using my blackberry via voip, and the blackberry is totally independant. It works great. I my sister lives in helsinki finland. I call her landline for literally fractions of a cent via my skyout credit, and I can call her totally for free if she is at her computer. I am traveling internationally I am assuming this will work in other countries to call back to the united states for free.

When you make a call that goes on for more than a few min, when you hang up the phone, the skype program has to be restarted for some reason, but that only takes about 20 seconds to restart, no big deal.

Overall I am very happy with this program, I have found no other program that works with skype on a blackberry. There are other programs out there, but they usually require you to be logged onto your desktop. This program is totally independant. Calls are pretty close to the quality of a regular cell phone call. Basically you call the person you want to call ,and all of a sudden your phone rings from a number like 000123456. When you pick up the other end is ringing to the person you called. Its like some other host is making a 3 way call. I have been using it to call internationally. It doesn't even use up my regular minuites, its totally free minuites!!!

It makes calling internationally really cheap, or calling from a international country really cheap.
I feel as though I am pulling the wool over the eyes of my mobile phone providers.

AAAA+++ for this program....one for the little guy!!
