This is a closed protocol. Therefore they would have to pay Skype for the pleasure of building it. Also, whats to say that Skype wouldn't change their minds on this later? Nokia is right to build hardware on *open* standards, like SIP. SIP is VoIP, Skype is P2P Voice over Internet. SIP is not another VoIP. SIP is a Session Initiation Protocol and is used to initiate a communication which can be VoIP but can be also Video and much more.
