This just proves one thing, people will always use your device in ways you never even dreamed about. The fathers of the internet had no idea than in 10 years people would be trading HD TV Rips via Bit Torrent. The people at Nokia (NYSE: NOK) need to realize that the title of "internet tablet" is so lacking it’s not even funny. It’s a sketch pad, web surfing device, media player, and with better handwriting recognition it could be a notebook for young people or old people alike.

  1. Thanks Stefan. There’s definitely still a lot of unused potential in the 770. HWR could use some improvement, there’s still no do-all solution for text editing/viewing, and there are some options that the sketch application could enable to make it a little more robust.

For instance, there’s no fill tool, no ability to rotate images, no zoom, no way to choose the color of the eraser, no spray/airbrush tool, and of course there’s no way to edit screenshots made on the 770 in the app. I guess it would be less of a sketch app and more of a GIMP-like app, but I think more options make for more advanced artwork.

    Thanks again for blogging this.
