In fact, in S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 (N95, N76) there is a toolbar in the camera view, and "Self timer" is the 3rd icon down.

N76 is cool because it's a flat fold phone, so just angle it and it stands up perfectly.

Ricky,

Those same issues is what brought Nokia to invent the DT-22 tripod. It supports not only the N93 but the N73, N70 and N80 as well.

Self Timers have been there on s60 phones for ages. With s60 1st edition phones like 3650, there was a symbian app which did this. It was later incorporated as a standard feature by nokia.
I've used it with the N91 a couple of times. Quite easy to use, just go to Camera, Options-> Self Timer and select the timing.

All Nokias from the 6682 on down the line have had self-timers. It's just slightly hidden in the menus somewhere. What's more interesting to note is that the N73, which is supposed to be this big picture-taking powerhouse (and it is) cannot rest on its own. Meaning none of the sides of the phone are flat, so you can't simply set it down like a normal camera, yet it has a picture timer. So you have to prop it up against something to be able to use the timer.
