There were about 570,000 handsets sold in Taiwan last month, and Nokia continued to have the largest market share with a 29% occupation of both total sales volume and value, according to local retail channels.
Samsung Electronics ranked fourth with market share of over 8% in terms of sales volume, while LG Electronics’ occupation was slightly less than 3%.
None of the top-five brands were Taiwan brands, with OKWAP (owned by Inventec Appliance) sharing 3% of total sales volume, Asus (Asustek Computer) and BenQ each occupying less than 3% and WIN II (Tecom) occupying about 1%.
