It’s 9AM in Espoo right now and people are just starting to get in to the office. It’s 1AM in Dallas and frankly I’m exhausted. If you’re reading this Tommi then blog about your vacation man! Phil I’m curious about Finnish cuisine, could you discuss that further?
To the rest of the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) employees who read this blog, I know you’re out there I check my logs
I hope you had a nice Christmas and it’s time to get back to work until the upcoming binge drinking slumber party called New Year’s
Hyvää huomenta

Finnish cuisine? Well the Nordics aren’t really known for their cuisine, people up here “eat to live” rather than “live to eat” like they may do in Southern Europe.
People often say Finland is a “meat and potatoes” society, that’s probably very true. Main course always seems to have potatoes, and some chunk of meat. Moose and reindeer are very popular here. Fish is popular as well, especially fish that comes out of Finnish lakes.
Desserts always seem to be tainted with fruity things. Like chocolate cake…and bananas. Cake…with bits of orange. Ice cream…with berries.
Well Fish and Chips with a nice cold pint of New Castle is what I call the perfect meal
I prefer Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
