I create special folders, delete some, and put things in the folders where I think they should be. It's not automatic, like you're wanting, but I think there's a benefit to me putting it how I want it - it won't change. One thing I HATE about Windows Mobile devices is that stupid program bar at the top that changes as you use stuff. I don't want to have to guess how to get to an app that I don't use on a daily basis. I like to set stuff where I want it so that I know exactly how to get there when I want to.
