Audio: Ken camp interviews … me

By Stefan Constantinescu on Friday, January 5th, 2007 at 11:07 PM PST In Blog Updates

Where should I start with this one … oh boy! I was nervous, and it definitely shows. Stuttering and mumbling and repeating myself, this definitely wasn’t me at my finest hour. I want to thank Ken for taking the time to speak with me, he’s a great guy, it’s just that I’m not used to this line of questioning.

I don’t want to say I have ADD since that would be a cop out, but I’m good at answering questions one at a time. I have a lot more respect for politicians now. Experiencing what it’s like to have multiple questions thrown at you all at once, taking the time to digest that, then produce an answer … it’s more difficult then CNN makes it seem.

I tried listening to this in it’s entirety, but hearing myself talk just sounds awkward and quite frankly a little weird. Weighing in at about 77 minutes long this isn’t for the faint of heart. If you want to hear me talk that much then please, give me a call, my number is in the right hand column.

So without further delay, and even more apologizing for my stumbling self, here it is:

EDIT: Damn I saw ummm a lot! If we’re going to do this again Ken then I need to do it after dinner so I’ll have at least one glass of vino in me.

You did great Stefan. It takes practice and getting used to. And to be honest, I’ve been speaking in public for over 20 years and when I hear myself, I cringe and hear only my mistakes. I really enjoyed it and I’m sure we’ll do it again down the road. Next time, we’ll both grab a glass of wine and chat over that before we start recording so you feel comfortable. I really think it went well and you did quite nicely. Don’t fret about it my friend.

Cheers! Enjoy CES. Wish I was headed there instead of Little Rock.

My first podcast I ever listened to and I enjoyed it very much. I’ve always (since you started blogging) liked your point of view into Nokia mobiles and I knew I would enjoy this podcast also, and you surely didn’t let me down this time either.
    Greets from Finland.. :)
