Hey Nokia: Check out how responsive Windows Mobile 6.0 is

May I remind you this isn’t even out yet, a beta if you will, and it’s still SNAPPY as all hell:

So why am I linking to a WinMo video? It’s what the "other guys" are working on. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer as they say. Bring on the competition, because the only thing that will result is innovation. Now of course on the flip side a good number of popular WinMo devices are known to have terrible battery life when compared to their Symbian counterparts, so it’s a trade off.
Enjoy the vid, I need to start packing for CES!

The screen looks huge.. wonder what it is running on it the demo? I.e. one possibility is of course that it can be snappy as hell in the lab, but maybe not so on an actual consumer product.
I don’t think this is real. It appears to just be a skin. The fact that he plays stupid sounds for 3/4 of the video is evidence enough that this is fake.
it’s not fake..

i like the today screen but the other menus are still ugly like WM5
Hey this demo is running on the HTC Universal, it has 520 Mhz…
On a Omap TI with 200 Mhz it will be fucking slow like WM5.
I’m a long time Windows Mobile User, but since i bought my E61, i love Symbian.
I agree with lutz, normally WiMo requires higher processor speed and more RAM. That’s why it “looks” like it runs faster than any Symbian OS phones.
However, I agree that we need some “optimization” on Symbian OS.
