People,

I have a Nokia 6280.
I downloaded the Updater v1.3.60gr

Then I connected (USB cable) my phone to my pc.

Then I started the update (from 3.6 to 6.10)

Process started, phone on the table, and suddenly without being moved AT ALL, USB lost the connection!

The process stopped/failed and now my phone does NOT TURN ON AT ALL. Neither I can restore the connection.

Please help with the next steps I need to take.

Romeo, it's not about calming down. I speak to apoplectic mobile phone users all the time mystified why they have to put up with rubbish or, as Stefan puts it, inferior solutions.

Stefan, you are quite right re OTA - I am looking forward to having a handset from Nokia that does this. Question - will my handset need to download a 44mb update OTA? ;)

Kudos for Nokia for having implemented OTA - more please, more! As for the other mobile manufacturers....
