i dont really think sony will surpass nokia because there so called smart phones are very limited. and at least nokia has the smarts to make a quadband smartphone with wifi!

So you only get the “value” from the device when you are sitting at your desk? What if your a 15 year old kid? How many of those have desks

Now your talking! I completely agree with you on this point. We are seeing it already with devices like the N800 and lots of other devices, the sidekick, and UMPCs.

What I would like to see would be a device, similar size to an N800, with a wireless headset of some sorts. Once its within XXmetres of you, you can make your voice calls without having to key in numbers.

You want to send an e-mail you use the on screen kebo/graffitti.

I am hoping to get an N800 in the next few weeks. I’ll let you know how I get on, IF I get it.

I mean are you really going to carry a docking station around for your phone?

The whole point of the “mobile” phone is to be mobile. Even laptops are too big..(maybe 12″ are fine).

I honestly dont think this will amount to much. I am happy to be proved wrong, but I think I am safe!
