		<description>i think this is actually a good idea but it wont be very popular because the people who cant afford computers probally cant afford expensive feature lacking sony phones then buy the dock, theyll probally just get a cheap laptop!! good idea none the less.

i dont really think sony will surpass nokia because there so called smart phones are very limited. and at least nokia has the smarts to make a quadband smartphone with wifi!

		<description>&quot;
it is a docking station
it doesn&#039;t move with you, it stays at your desk&quot;

So you only get the &quot;value&quot; from the device when you are sitting at your desk? What if your a 15 year old kid? How many of those have desks ;)

&quot;i&#039;m sorry to see you two don&#039;t share my enthusiasm, but i really think this will be huge.&quot;

Like I said, I am happy to be proven wrong!

&quot;cell phones in less than 5 years will be as fast as computers are today. that means a lot of people could simply stop carrying a computer. a majority of people out there just surf the web, email, IM, and enjoy content.

you don&#039;t need a full blown pc to do that.&quot;

Now your talking! I completely agree with you on this point. We are seeing it already with devices like the N800 and lots of other devices, the sidekick, and UMPCs.

What I would like to see would be a device, similar size to an N800, with a wireless headset of some sorts. Once its within XXmetres of you, you can make your voice calls without having to key in numbers.

You want to send an e-mail you use the on screen kebo/graffitti.

I am hoping to get an N800 in the next few weeks. I&#039;ll let you know how I get on, IF I get it.

Oh, btw, I am still writing my review of the E61...slow I know :)

thanks

		<description>I saw this on engadget earlier today, and I had to laugh. How absolutely ridiculous! (I am so amazed, I can&#039;t even spell the word correctly!)

I mean are you really going to carry a docking station around for your phone?

The whole point of the &quot;mobile&quot; phone is to be mobile. Even laptops are too big..(maybe 12&quot; are fine).

I honestly dont think this will amount to much. I am happy to be proved wrong, but I think I am safe!

		<description>I cant understand why you are so enthusiastic. This think does not appeal to me - a dock for a mobilphone which is something like a pc? sry, but it looks like totaly nonsense.</description>
