The new version of the Nokia Mobile Search with My Content search (searching for content stored in your device) was not available when the press release hit the wire. Open up Search, go to Options -> About to check the version of your current Search application. If you don't have Search v3.2, go to the site http://www.nokia.com/mobilesearch, download and install the latest. Sorry for the inconvenience.

@David

yould it be that you've got to set the local search provider in the preference menu? I can't be sure and my E61 is not on me right now but I sort of remembered having seen such an option somewhere...

I also can't find any option to search in-device content (E61). Worse than that there's no longer an option to search local businesses. Used to be Yell in my case (UK) but now all I get is the option to search Web and Images (Windows Live or Yahoo). Is this perhaps because Yell have launched their own mobile search software? Unfortunately it won't run on an E61 yet though.

One snag with Mobile Search on my E61, is that it uses the E61's web browser rather than Opera, with no option to choose that I have yet come across..

I received the press release about Mobile Search as well, installed the software and now can't find the option to search in-device content. That's on an E61; I tried it yesterday. Has anyone found it?
