Telefonica Moviles Espana selects Symbian OS for future smartphone roll-outs

Symbian Limited today announced a collaboration with Telefonica (NYSE: TEF) Moviles Espana to reinforce the role of Symbian OS in Telefonica’s mobile device portfolio.
The collaboration will enable Telefonica Moviles Espana to offer new mobile devices and services more quickly to its customers by increasing the use of S60 and UIQ on Symbian OS as respective software platforms for mobile handsets worldwide.
