Dear Samsung: You rock

This post has nothing to do with mobile phones.

Short version of the story: I purchased a Samsung DLP HDTV online, standard 12 month warranty. Came straight from Korea. 14 months after my purchase it starts having huge problems. A quarter of the screen had different colors then the other 75%.

I called Samsung, they apologized profusely, extended my warranty by 6 months, and a guy repaired it today. He left 5 minutes ago.

Two companies who have treated me like a king: Samsung and Lenovo

Too many people write about poor service, I want to give a huge thanks to Samsung and have no problem recommending their HDTV’s to my friends and family.

HBO HD is having a Star Wars marathon as I type this.

Now excuse me, I need to learn the secrets of the force … in 1080P!

Yeah I had a 46″ dlp slim fit and the screen started to bow on it and I had bought the tv off of craigs list and did not have a receipt or any original paper work but they still treated me like a king too and Warrantied the tv. Also I didnt know when the warranty ran out and it turned out it was gong to run out 2 days after I called them but they still covered me any way, Most companies out their wont warranty their products even if you have the original receipt and filled out all of the warranty cards so I just have to say Props Samsung Props!
