That said, this is the state in which it's being sold by Nokia so it needs a mention, just that the device *WILL* improve with time. With the 770, it took Nokia a couple of firmware releases before they got into their stride after which performance and stability improved immeasurably. The same is going to happen with the N800 (unfortunately) - the current firmware is buggy and incomplete, and I feel sure the next few firmware updates will bring improved stability, performance and also new features (an FM Radio has recently been discovered in the N800, USB on the Go is also rumoured to be in the hardware but not yet enabled). SDHC support will also appear in future firmwares - this is already available in unofficial kernel updates, an N800 with two 8GB SDHC cards is rather sweet!
