Why buy $1000 Grado headphones when many Nokia's come with their own earbuds? Do you get where I'm going with this? Just because you don't get it, doesn't mean there aren't people out there who do. The N95 is more of a "this is what we can accomplish with our best engineering" king of thing. In less than 5 years we will be able to pick up a phone with the same specs for less than $300. The N95 is more of a “this is what we can accomplish with our best engineering” king of thing. In less than 5 years we will be able to pick up a phone with the same specs for less than $300.

It is the technology industry mate. It doesn’t stop for anyone.

Yes, a dual-slide phone is cool. The camera looks awesome (Even the with the Red). Yes, It looks like a rocking phone... But what is the big deal about the N95? Maybe it is just the epitome of a lot of different features that people want? I really want to know what the appeal is, because I'm just missing something if people are willing to spend $1200 bucks on this phone. I want an E90 so bad I can taste it, but I WILL NOT spend $1200 bucks on it, and it's a phone that appeals to me big time. I'm really not trying to be snide or snippy, I want to know if I'm missing something about the N95 that I haven't noticed. I'm also not a typical American who wants a contract rate subsidized phone either (I still have that crappy 3595 in a drawer around here somewhere) as I'm a E61 addict and expect to NEVER buy another phone from a carrier unless I need a new SIM.
