Snippet:
More importantly, the N800’s software seems unpolished and unfinished. There’s no calendar application, no method for synchronizing data from a PC, no software for using the camera to record videos or snap still pictures, though Nokia (NYSE: NOK) says that’s coming. And there’s no simple way to use the camera for video conferencing with a PC, unless you get somebody else to download a special Nokia program. The company hopes to solve this later with a Skype program for the device.
I don’t like how he references the iPhone and uses it as a baseline comparison to the N800. Two totally different products. He does highlight a few issues however that are being echoed across the net: it needs to interact with your PC, the UI can use a bit of polishing, and most importantly the out of box experience needs to improve.

I am trying to hold of writing a mocking email to this retarded reviewer.. I am counting to ten… ok… so, he is another reviewer almost completely missing the point of the product.
“I can’t imagine many people carrying around this device. For one thing, the N800 is a tweener — smaller than a laptop, but too big for a pocket. It’s 5.7 inches long, 2.95 inches wide and 0.5 inch thick. It weighs 7.27 ounces. The iPhone is smaller and lighter.”
It is not meant to be carried around!!! Most people use it on the sofa for crying out loud!
Nokia is not trying to make a computer – they are trying to make, first and foremost, a web browsing product (oh and the reviewer by oddball luck I guess manages to notice that that’s what it does well)…
Grr… lol..
I feel the same way Viipottaja
