How To: Make a tripod for your Nokia N93 or N93i

By Stefan Constantinescu on Friday, February 23rd, 2007 at 2:40 PM PST In Ideas and rants

When I shot my N93i unboxing video with my N93 I promised I would show you my tripod setup. Here it is in 5 steps.

Step 1: Grab a text book

Step 2: Grab a rubber band

Step 3: Put rubber band around text book

Step 4: Insert Nokia (NYSE: NOK) camera phone somewhere in the middle

Step 5: Shoot your video

If you’re wondering why I did this today it’s because I reviewed the DT-22. Uploading it to youtube right now!

  1. Stefan, you’re a genius! Thanks for sharing that excellent tip! That’s a perfect solution . . . everyone has a book, everyone has a rubber band, everyone has a . . . Opps sorry no, not everyone has a N93i. (^_^)

  2. Hi Stefan !

I LOVE this!! I have been thinking should I commission some metal workshop to customize a bracket for me to screw onto a tripod. But no, rubber band and any hardcover book will do (including any of my own books, and I tend to carry my latest book around anyway in my briefcase). You are BRILLIANT. This is the perfect solution.

    Thank you !!!!!
