I’m not showing you this video because of truphone.

I’m showing you this video because the default theme of the E65 rocks! What’s with the blue Knight Rider progress bar? It’s beautiful:

i see, this phone really rocks… What about the OS, is it 3rd FP1 ? Or something newer? Looks not typical S60 3rd.

I don actually get why do I hav to use truphone? coz e series has built in SIP protocol support?

  • TimDS, Truphone

    Lutzs,
I guess you don’t have to use Truphone if you’re able and happy to manually configure the necessary settings on your E-series phone. But 99 people out of 100 ordinary mobile users have never heard of SIP, and nor should they ever need to just to enjoy the benefits of internet telephony. So the Truphone wizard does that dirty work for the ordinary mobile phone user.
But there are other benefits: Truphone gives you a real mobile number, which makes you reachable when you’re not on-net (via call forwarding to your GSM number). And if you’re phoning someone else who’s not on-net, you get to do so at Truphone’s low call rates.
    Tim.
