One thing to note: The text goes away after less than 5 seconds BUT you still have a blinking light near the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) logo that flashes every once in a while.
VERY useful. Something I love and miss on my old Nokia 3220.

Beside the blinking led when there is is a miss call or incoming sms , You can press any of the side button for the display to light up again . And one more to add if press camera button the one with the red dot , The display will show time , date and day .
