Close to 25% of my readers are from America. I find that figure fascinating since I thought nobody on this continent admired the vast product line Nokia has in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Why am I telling you this?
The 5300 just came out in the USA, branded and locked of course, thanks to T-Mobile. I’ve already started receiving IM’s, text messages and emails asking me about this device.
The following two reviews are "old" by Internet time standards. Mobile Review published their article on October 17, 2006 and Mobile Burn a little more than a month later, but quality content doesn’t age. Scent of a Woman is just as good now as it was in 1992.

What do I think about the device?
Bulky, 2.5 mm headphone jack = big no no, slow USB transfer speeds, 2 GB limit for storage is not enough, no USB charging and it looks very … like something I wouldn’t spend my money on.
What would be the perfect MP3 phone for me?
3.5 mm headphone jack, USB charging, SDHC support, very fast transfer speeds, looks like the 8800 and S60.
What is my current MP3 player?
I have the 1GB version. I only use my MP3 player when I go running or biking. It runs on a single AAA battery and seems to work just fine after being dropped several times and exposed to liters upon liters of sweat.
I don’t use the MP3 player on my N93 or E61 simply because they don’t have 3.5 mm headphone jacks.
