E70 vs N93 vs N95 Photo Comparison: Which is better in real world testing?

By Stefan Constantinescu on Sunday, March 4th, 2007 at 7:27 PM PST In Devices

Steve from All About Symbian compares three Nokia camera phones to try and find out if autofoucs and megapixels really make a difference in terms of picture quality.

I’m glad he mentions how long it takes S60 devices to autofocus. In testing the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N93i I immediately appreciated how much quicker it was than my N93. The N93 is painfully slow, especially if you’re used to a regular point and shoot digital camera. I can’t comment on the N73 and N95.

You might be surprised at the results.

Guess which camera phone took this:

i’ve done similar test (autofocus vs. without autofocus) with E70, N73 and SGH-D900… I got similar results in controlled conditions, while outdoor N73 and D900 have slightly better contrast and light metering…
And no matter how slow AF is, if the camera is of great importance to me i think i’ll choose device with AF…

btw. i guessed correctly which camera phone took that photo :)
