New Motorola Startac reaches Korea

Motorola (NYSE: MOT) Startac is back. But this time (so far), only in Korea. The new Startac III MS900 is not an easy to understand device. Startac III MS900On one hand it features a 2″ QVGA screen, an MP3 player, 128 MB memory, and even a built-in GPS. Furthermore the device comes with lots of interesting apps like mobile banking, an e-book reader and a dictionary. On the other hand, there’s no external display or a camera!?

It’s understandable that Motorola choose not to put camera on the new Startac. But the lack of the external display for a clamshell seems like a hard sell. Anyway, the StarTac III MS900 weighs 92g, and has dimensions of 89×48.5×19.6 mm. Battery should sustain 160 minutes of talk, and 300 hours of stand-by time. No word on pricing, but Startac’s specs suggest this is a mid-range device.
