Proximity detector; Although not completely overlapping, this was a while back, the basic ideas of APPLE&#039;s claimed invention was implemented in a mobile phone from Ericsson presented in 2001 called R520m. Really cool, it was used if for turning off handsfree when picking up the phone and putting it to the ear. Also for snoozing the alarm.
