Not surprisingly, RIM is keen to exploit the popularity of its Pearl model. According to Gizmodo, the Canadian company is preparing to launch a “Red Pearl”, for more fashion-aware individuals and, I guess, ladies.
It’s interesting to note that RIM succeeded where other smart device makers have failed – to bring the smartphone to the “regular Joe” consumer in the U.S. Nokia had similar success with its 3250 smartphone, but not in the States… Anyway, it’s good to see smartphones going beyond the geeks.
