Yahoo and HTC announce a strategic mobile partnership

Yahoo keeps betting heavily on its mobile offering. In its latest move, they’ve announced a strategic mobile partnership with HTC (High Tech Computer) – the single largest manufacturer of Windows Mobile-based smartphones.
According to the agreement, HTC will preload Yahoo! mobile services on many of the company’s different mobile phone models. Still, operators are the ones that still sell the bulk of these devices and they could opt-out of Yahoo’s services…
