NokiaIn a move towards building a more channel-focused organization, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is redefining the roles of its device sales teams for North America and relocating most sales support people closer to customers - from Irving, Texas, to White Plains, New York. Furthermore, Mark Louison, the current head of Nokia’s networks business in North America, will become the head of Nokia’s devices business in the area on July 1, 2007. As of April 1, Louison will also become President of North American arm of Nokia. After all the changes are complete, Tim Eckersley, the current head of Nokia’s device sales in North America, will leave his current position at the end of June.

We’re eager to see will the Nokia’s new guy bring more sales to the company, especially in the U.S. where the world’s leading phone manufacturer still struggles to reach competition.
