It will set you back around $50 USD if you're lucky, some places charge more. I tried the 812SH unlock but the phone could not find the network (in Australia), however a new unlocking thingo has been made and the shop is getting it in several weeks so i'll take it back then. you take it to a phone shop and ask them to unlock.

BUT there is just one problem, these cellphones work only with Softbank and that too in Japan, so if you are planning to use them in your home-country (except Japan), you have to unlock them.... (If you unlock it, warrant is not valid anymore).
